you can only FULLY test it with complete hardware, ask any computer enthusiast here or any where.. theres a world of a difference between FULL and partial testing.

kasabot kos imong point, I was also refering to "Stress testing" specifically. i DID say that standard testing can be done but full stress testing IS NOT POSSIBLE w/o a processor, that also counts with the videocard and RAM altho videocard can be outdone with an onboard display.


what the other guy here is saying that i dont know how to do it.. who the is he kidding anyway ?

motherboard makers dont stress test the entire motherboard, they also use continuity tests to ensure ok tanan, they also make it boot until the POST screen only. The stress testing done is only on the northbridge and southbridge which is done by batch.
thats also a reason for DOA motherboards ( dead on arrival )

well anyway its a fact nga dli ma stress test ang motherboard w/o a processor and a ram, videocard ra pwede wala by using the onboard display if naa.
Continuity testing and standard testing is different from STRESS TESTING,An example of stress testing for me is running several loops of 3dmark06/05,atleast 24hours of Prime torture test ( w/ properly allocated ram ) a few more loops of superPI 32MB bench,Aquamark and cine bench and sandra is also a good stress tester for some, and last but not the least some runs of the latest games to ensure it.
