I don't think its too late for this fight (Mayweather-Mosley). Yeah, Mosley is past his prime, but that doesn't mean this is going to be a walk in the park for Floyd. Shane Mosley is still THE MAN @ welterweight, not Floyd, not Manny. Andre Berto is a contender @ best, although he is a title holder.
Bernard Hopkins is way past his prime, but beating him is easier said than done. Barrera and Morales were past their primes when Pacquiao fought them, but they were still the best in the featherweight and super featherweight divisions UNTIL Manny beat them.
Floyd Mayweather too is a little bit past his prime. He was at his best in his junior lightweight and lighweight days, but still he is too damn good.

yeah i got u bro,... but bottom line is,...if this fight going to 12rnd decision it very obvious that the decision goes to floydie,...
we hope nalang nga mosley can knocked-out that fight even a single round to make sure his victory otherwise floydie will win and he'll retire again like he did DLH(coz i dont believe the rematch contract )
I think Shane Mosley can very well earn a decision victory over Floyd. I don't think Floyd can keep him off for 12 rounds without getting hit. I think Mosley will make his punches count, and the judges will favor his aggression over Floyd's genius in defense. I'm not sure Floyd can win this fight just by his defense. At some point, he needs to FIGHT and earn this victory. That's why I'm saying, dri makita ang katag ni Floyd ug maau ba gyud siya, or ma expose lang ang iyang weakness.
I don't think Floyd has the power to hurt Shane, but I'm sure Mosley has the power to knock any welterweight out. What do you do when you in there with someone who lay the hurt on you and you can't hurt him in return? That's going to be a nightmare for Floyd, and if he could handle that mental advantage Mosley has, then he is indeed a special fighter.
IMO.. mosley is fast, strong and has power in his hands but he has no defense at all.
he commits too much in his punches and always leaves an opening to be countered like his fight with cotto...
and mayweather preys on that little opening and makes you pay for it..
stick and move or stick and clinch...
strength vs intelligence
agree, mosley is no push over, he's tough as nails and he had danced with the best his division has to offer, with mayweather's exception of course. with that experience, you cant count him out, he knows his ways in the ring and he knows he can beat mayweather. sugar can serve a beating on floyd if his team can come up with the best fight plan. you cant beat floyd on skills or experience alone, you need to execute a masterful game plan in order to beat this sissy.
if mosley can take the power punch of mayweather then mayweather is in trouble, coz mosley like to attack and exchange punches....
but if mag cgeg gakos gayweather, or counter then run..pagka y lami nalang gyud aning awaya....
ahaka, nindota dud tingong commentator sa 24/7...
mayweather gihapon ni, guwang2x na mosley.
Nazim Richardson is a crucial addition to team Mosley. If he wasn't there, I would not give Shane much of a chance, Brother Nazim is one of the best out there in coming up with a strategy, I consider him at par with Freddie Roach. Shane may not be a masterboxer like Hopkins or Toney, but he has the skills, talent and the experience to beat Floyd. His disadvantage coming in is his inactivity and age
