Please consider that UPS = to provide your PC a short time back up power for you to save your work during brownouts or sudden electric power shortage and has many automatic features as well.
PSU are not the same thing even not closely identical.

PSU = to provide power for your computer hardware parts but electric power dependable.
unsa may naka imposible ana? its no different from a laptop. naa siguroy mga factors mao wala na gi merge sa psu sa mga pc's pero its not impossible

its possible pero dli cya practical

UPS and PSU sa pc works the same way. ang deperensya lang nila is the ouptut voltage. without the UPS batteries mura ra jud na cyag AVR. if ang PSU pud imu butangan ug battery "Uninterruptible" na ang imung PSU for some duration of time. problema ani is pirte na bug ata imung system unit. considering sa mga batteries na ginagamit for UPS, usually lead acid.

Dili man ang circuitry alone ang nakamahal anang UPS, what makes it mahal ang word nga UPS. syempre ang mga tao ma amazed jud sa UPS kay sa iya mabuhat sa imo system. About sa technology sa UPS it's very simple ra jud, sa ilawom ana naa nai power inverter(from 12v or 6v to 220v or 110v), Battery and a charge controller.

  9. #19
mao... padong rana diha ang technology.... possible kaau

why combining PS and UPS is not a good idea.

1.it would take a lot of space sa imong casing.

    2. it's not price friendly to buyers. take note that buying ups is the buyers own discretion and risk. so if buyer prefers to risk frying his hardware due to a lack of UPS, then so be it.
