Are upgrading your existing PSU just so you can use a 9800Gt?

You could save money by just getting a Radeon 5670. It's a bit faster than the 9800GT but doesn't require external power.


It's priced at $99 pero Im not sure if it's already available here.

PCQ is seling 600 -640 W (can't remember the exact wattage) modular PSU for 2,400.00 few weeks back. Forget the make though but it can take 9800 GT easily

Yes I think that was the make " Zumax" and a nice touch for 2.4k is the fact it's MODULAR.

@vipvip68 i would not recommend that because the price is high even though ang target niya kay 99USD lisud sad kaau pangitaon nya i dont think its a bit faster than 9800gt pero almost same2x ra sila. mas daghan ang instances na na pildi gamay sa 9800gt ang 5670.

@vipvip68: yep, mao ra jud ngano mupalit ko branded psu so that i can manage 9800gt sa ako pc. 1st week feb pa man pud ko mupalit psu then 2nd wk vidcard.

Nahan ko 9800gt kay naa daw physx something. I wana knw anu un. Hehe..
