@Pedro_iho:
That is a good sensible routine which may be more suitable for normal guys. This is based on comfort level and common wisdom.
I'm just stating a fact that in the world of Elite athletes there are times that an ice bath is taken a few minutes after hard training. This is based on current sports science and medicine.
O.T.
There are some controversial practices at this level but may eventually trikle down to the general public. Ex. Before a power sports elite athletes just do a light dynamic warm-up but will not stretch to maximize power. Stretching is done after the event!
unsa man jud ang tinuod rason anang kuyaw i-shower kung gikan exercise? kay ako shower raba ko dritso shortly after working out... i haven't noticed any side-effects but i am a little concerned.. care to shed a little light on to me?![]()
@aeres623:
The reason why you didn't notice side effects is that there none.
im thinking sa pasmo after working out...if ever there is such after working out. I dont know if there are any side effects when you shower immediately after working out. Dili ko usa sa mga elite athletes ug wla ko ga major na mag study sa ila lifestyle.
btaw, I dont know if wla pay side effects na notice ni ares623 because the effects don't show early or because there are no effects at all
Pasmo may be a condition that is labeled to a lot of health different complications that people unaccostumed to physical exertion get into. Example: a sedentary guy runs for 20 minutes because he was advised to exercise after having been diagnosed with hypertension. Dayun nainitan ug ayo ... nag shower...nag- stroke... ignon dayun napasmo.
Kung normal ka unya reasonable imong exercise sa imong fitness level. Walay bearing ang maligo ka right after. Elite athletes take ice baths to blunt the inflammatory effects of exercise trauma. (usually naay microscopic muscle tears sa intense training) This hastens recovery. Remember you don't get stronger when you are training. It is when you are recovering. Layu -a na ani uy!.
In short take the shower when you are most comfortable with it. or... consult your doctor. hehehe.
Naa ko friend nga after any sweat-drenching sports, he rubs alcohol on his body right after the sport activity... It's to close the pores daw. ok raba kaha na?
ot: unsa'y english term sa 'na-pasmo'?
i recommend when you shower, you use the warm water rather than the cold or the ordinary one.
sometimes i rest... sometimes... diretso... no difference...
