I'm not in this kind of business but i am in a financing company mao naa ko gamay idea about ani. Just be careful sa pagpalit nimo ug franchise kay naay daghan fake ron. Mahal baya na ang franchise nya basin simbako ug mailad lang ka. Remember last year katong naay daghan news about sa fake franchise then na question kay ngano nakalusot sa LTFRB? Basta careful lang jud.
Another thing is dili sayon ni nga business. Mao na ila giingon nga kung naa kay dili ganahan na taw nya naglibog kung unsay e business, advise ug taxi operator kay aron daw maka baws ka kay daghan man na problema. Mas dako advantage kung mechanico ka or naa kay idea aron dili lang ka ilad ilaron at the same time pwede pod ka maka fix sa ginagmay na problema.
As operator, kung maka disgrasya ang imong driver, remember na imo nang responsibility.
I'm not totally discourging you about this kind of business kay swerte swerte raman jud na. What am trying to present to you is ang reality. Of course dili lang disadvantages tanan naa poy advantages.
If you really wanted this business, it would be best kung ikaw juy mudrive or kanang sure ka nga ang mu drive kay maayo muamping sa imong sakyanan kay kasagaran anang mga mga driver, dili kaayo na mubati kay dili man na ilaha.
By the way, if ganahan ka mupalit ug taxi, mas maayo kung kanang dili pa taxi daan ang imong paliton kay aron dili hago kaayo. Kung naa nakay existing na taxi ron mura pwede man siguro na ug e attach lang nimo ang franchise ron aron dili naka mupalit ug lain. Dili kaayo ko sure ani pero e clarify lang.

not necessarily na brandnew jud basta private lang kay kung taxi man gud daan, mura dako kaayo ang chance nga naa jud blema nya hago na jud na kaayo

kung ikaw ra ang modrive ok ra ang 2nd hand, just make sure na at least motagal og 1 month gkan sa pagpalit nimo. So by that time makasave naka para sa imo paayo. Then start diha sa usa kabuok and you will learn a lot. Mas maayo kung mupalit kag unit with franchise kay mas barato kaysa palit kag franchise lang then substitutan nimo og lain na unit. my parents dabbled in this biz for a short while back in the early 90's they stopped because alkansi daw ka if iparent nimo ang imong unit kay ikaw pa magmaintain and magkadepreciate ni siya.. dako lang ni ug kita if you drive it urclf.. or daghan daw ang units na imong iparent at the same time.. also beware of drivers na abusive... ive heard stories of owners complaining na pirmi lang muingon ang drivers na gamay ra kuno ilang kita so the owners are forced to lower the rent for kay luoy sad ang driver wala siyay mauli for his family..

ok lang bai if you have more than one unit. been in the business for the last 3 years. medyo sakit lang sa ulo kay badlongon ang mga driver. tinuod na ning lower ko sa rent just to help the driver make ends meet. mas maayo if naka gasul imo unit. sa 3 years nako, wa gyuy driver na ning last since pag start nako. pirmi lang bag o. If na a ka lain ma gamitan/huna huna an na negosyo mas maayo pa.

My family has been through this kind of business in the 90's. As the operator, you should know how to fix cars (engine, suspension, & electrical) the practical way (change oil, brake parts, underchassis, fuses, etc.). Para di ka ma ilad sa mga mekaniko ug parts to be acquired for fixing.

Purchase an automobile that has a track record (lig-on, dependable, reasonable priced parts w/ no problems of availability). You can ask drivers or mechanics for pointers on this. Second hand lang palita pero ayaw pud nang gikan mal-mal na or ex-taxi unit. Mas dali ma bawi nimo.

Be ready to deal w/ erring drivers. Mao ning pinakalabad sa tanan. In our experience, we had three very good drivers who started from the beginning and ended up owning the units they drove pag biya nila namo. Maayo kaayo mo amping sa car. But the rest of the group (around 16 of them) were bad apples. Mag sige short hatag abang and abusive driving which results to frequent downtime for repairs.

Start w/ 3 units or more unless mag self-drive raka sa imo unit. Don't forget to pray for guidance and protection.
