China - you think its easy managing a billion people.
India - they are going in the right direction now.
Japan - the people are very nationalistic and value thier culture, took them only 20 yrs to become an enconomic giant after WWII (note: Japan after WWII was literally wasted by the US)
Canada - the humble giant.
Singapore - solid.

@crinkle - you mean wester europe, midldle eastern europe is literally in smokes right now due to war and some are still at war.
