since you ask an istoryans POV, i think d ni siya dapat accepted for the reason nga what if e tolerate sa uban.
It would come to time nga ang mga TS sa BSTC kay mga oldies then ang mga real owner would just bump on the thread as newbies..

Ok rana uy.... we all help each other here.... even moderators have their own lenient side...

I guess for them being silent about this... means it just a small issue for them to tackle about.....

tabang rana cya...... like sa logo sa istorya.net... "more than just talk" tabang tabang pud... hehe

@Cliff, yeah! I thought of that.. But naa man gud chance nga same ra og Internet connection ang duha ka user.. so, the same IP address ang visible sa admin in which they monitor if naa'y possibility of multiple accounts.

Here's the situation, actually almost similar ani:
My sis was still a newbie here and asked me to create a thread for her in Buy and Sell. We're under the same Internet connection, mo-LOG sa Admin is our IP address which is the same lang. So, it can be considered as a multiple account. But my Sister's account bump that thread, not me. I bump it quite a few times lang when she was out of Town. Now that she gains Junior status, she's creating her own Thread na sa Buy and Sell.

There's this point also in Sir Beor's reply which states:
"we are primarily after people who "bloat" their own threads to gain reputation or to needlessly bump their threads... "
The gain reputation doesn't apply anymore

If calma, no excessive bumps, lang siguro ang thread, users won't be banned.

I'm not an Admin or Moderator, so, this is just my opinion.. ^_^

@juNexbOyz - pra nako naa ka point, nga kon e.tolerate lng nih bcn moabot ang time mao na ang mahimong paagi dri sa istorya and i don't know if that's fine against the rules.

@AntitaniC - if you think this is just an small issue then still it is an issue and shouldn't be tolerated kay bcn modako ni nga issue.

^ sakto jud! Dapat di ni i-tolerate sa mods..
I guess I'm one of those violators if this is a violation against the rules..
    waaaaa..! (^^,)

I hope admins would give some point of view on this issue..

    thanks daan..

there's still no final verdict yet, so, wala pa ka'y naligsan nga tao n00dle$..
it's an honest query and needs to be clarified by the Admins or Moderators..

I want to know also the answer and I'm monitoring this thread pud..

I just do hope there will be some notification first before i-treat nga violation ni siya nga method of posting sa Buy and Sell.

Thanks stealG for your scenario, but I find it not related to TS's inquiry and its somehow a violation. Peace bro.

Needless bumping / Bumping out of Buy & Sell - Bumping of topics without any valid or justifiable reason is strictly prohibited. You are only allowed to bump your own threads when in the Buy, Sell, Trade and Classifieds forum.
And I agree that if ever this is tolerated, this may become a big issue in the future. But the admin(s) has plans for "control measures" in Buy and Sell boards. We'll wait and see for that.
