@bisayadakoo: My family has been booking through PAL's website and so far we've never had any problem. We fly on a montly basis. I guess maybe this is so kay we are a very big family.

Mas makaingon pa ko nga ang Cebu Pacific na website ang naa problem. Late last year we were unable to purchase tickets online kay magka-error. We end up calling their incompetent call center. Naa pa jud fee. I don't want to think that Cebu Pacific did this on purpose.

@jackdi: Mao lang jud na naka-paet sa PAL. Wala pa sila flights from CEB to SG or HK. Mao ra jud na nakalamang sa 5J nila.

bai, perhaps you are lucky with PAL online booking.

I tried yesterday booking SYD-MNL-SYD, I got the same credit card "gateway payment" error.

And then I tried booking MNL-CGY-MNL, and it just works without a hitch.

Then I tried SYD-MNL-SYD again, I got the same "gateway payment problem".

So it looks like their "International Gateway Credit Card Payment" has problems. As I said, I've been trying PAL online bookings in the last 3 years (SYD-MNL-SYD), but I have no luck at all. Always "gateway payment" error.

Their ROKSO office in Sydney is just ridiculous. ROKSO office doesn't even accept credit card (I bought ticket December last year).

Only two airlines do the SYD-MNL-SYD (PAL is via Melbourne) route, i.e. Qantas and PAL. I booked with PAL so that they get my small money not Qantas (usually Qantas is about $100-$200 dearer). If there is another airline that do this route I will go there.

just me 2 centemos with Philippine Airlines.

    cheers,

    Bisaya Dako

@bisayadakoo: hmmm.. that's strange. We were able to purchase MNL-MEL-MNL online for my mother. I think it was done last week. Do you think it's because you're flying "to" PI and not "from" PI? Then again, that shouldn't be the reason why they won't allow you to book.
