Dward, pwede ko mu apply driver nimo? hehehe du.ol na bya ta ug balay, I'll drop by one of these days after I get settled in. Just transferred to Mandaue last week.

And back to topic, yes to the hill climb event. Maybe tie up with some of the car clubs? More sponsors = less money spent from the pockets of the participants.

OT:Hahaha mangapply man gani kog driver ni Sir Chris! Sure thing bro, cmon' over! Welcome to Mandaue!

BTT: Organizing this will be a hillclimb in itself, but it can be done. Organization, logistics and safety (especially spectator safety) would be major considerations. The locations have to be considered as well. Along with a ton of other things that need to be done of course. But it all begins with one step in the right direction.

No need to make it big right away. Lets do a small one to try it out. Manila AAP thru MSCC has offered to conduct a safety course as well as accreditation.

maybe we should ask AAP about safety requirements/regulations for the car....like are roll cages required? 4 point seatbelts required? and what other safety requirement are necessary?

From Manila, reply on thread :Hillclimb expenses are basically, trophies, marshall's fees (or else get club volunteers), Security, Ambulance or First Aid, 2-way radios, banners, car numbers (at least 2, registration and waiver forms, staff and marshall's fees, checkered flag, white board for scoring.

For the entries naman, seatbelts and helmet are the minimum requirements. Roll bars/cage recommended especially for convertibles. You need to classify according to engine displacement, etc.
