    that is really true that police are corrupt but as what i think not only the police. When the government inacts laws it cannot afford to inforce ,while the major crime, that need inforcement go neglected. This direction is not serving the needs of the people. The cyber *** are not criminal they dont spread social deseases .they dont get pregnant ...

    We dont have enough jails, to hold up all the criminals who are doing the serious crime because the cultural are all ****ed up. Daginoton na hinoon ni nila ang babae nga nag work sa kaugalingon nga balay kay unsa man ang iya sala? nganong daginoton man ni sila sa ato government? Dili ba diay sila kadakop sa mga criminla, tulisan , rapist ug uban pa? ngano kani man gyud ila daginoton nga unta nagmalinawon raman ning mga bayhana sa ila balay? Mao nay giingon nga unsa man ni ato government oi wala may klaro pataka raman ug panakop cla oi. Mga pulis pwera sa maayo nga mapili lang ayaw intawon mo pataka ug panakop kay wala gyuy anagy manakop mo sa tao nga wala makabuhat ug crimin.

    @freedom_net:

    at least you could've posted the link for reference.

    IMHO:

    Q: How did the local authorities know about that?
    Possible A: Intelligence. Or we can refer to this article, though the place where the subject committed her "sin" is a public place(internet cafe), but how it was found out might be similar. CLICK here

    Q: Magbuot di ang police magcyber sa own home? Kung maghubo ko sa cam dakpon nako?
    Possible A: Well, if you are referring to yourself conducting cybersex sessions, openly/publicly broadcasting nude shows for a fee or something that would relate to that, is "cyber-prostitution".

    Since our subject is arrested, then it would be safe to assume that she is on "cyber-prositution".

    Under Philippine law, prostitution is a crime. But the big question is: how can one aptly prosecute a case of cyber prostitution? Under Article 202, Section 5 of the Revised Penal Code, a prostitute is a woman (now including men, who either hire a prostitute or the prostitute himself or herself, through amendments under R.A. 9208, or the Antitrafficking in Persons Act of 2003) “who for money or profit, habitually indulges in sexual intercourse or lascivious conduct.”

    Again, a possible source as to how the authorities knew of the act, pls refer to the first Q/A link provided above.

    It has always been an issue when police actions are taken and that the subjects are, well, just committed not-so-simple crimes. BUT still, cyber-***/prostitution is a crime. And sometimes people would often resort to the reasoning, "wala diay mi privacy?".

    The downside is, there are too many obvious cases/displays of crimes related to this, pero wala gyud dakpa. (e.g. nude shows, bars, casa, etc.)

    Again, opinion rani ako. [see article 200-202 of the Revised Penal Code ]
