It would be nice if the event can attract not only competitors from abroad but also journalists.

It would be a major media coverage coup for Cebu if the event gets covered in such media organizations like Sports Illustrated, The Sporting News, Runners World, etc.

pero kinahanglan nga tarungon jud ug organize ang event kay basin negative hinuon ang mga reviews.
kinahanglan jud unta hawan jud ang rota. sirado sa mga vehicles labi na garbage trucks. paita pud anang mag fun run unya daghan kaau nag garbage collection sa rota. nindot jud kun hawan jud parehas sa mga international marathons.

I heard that some people, who had planned to join the Cebu Marathon this January, are going to participate in the marathon at Subic Bay as part of their preparation.

Registration for the Cebu Marathon slated on January 10, 2010 is now open.

Runners residing in Cebu should visit the Adidas Shop in Ayala Center or the Adidas Sports Depot in Banilad Town Center to register for the race. Cebu residents won’t be able to register online.

Non-Cebu runners or overseas participants have to log on to Cebu City Marathon 2010 Cebu Marathon and download the registration form. After filling out the form, they have to scan and e-mail the filled-out form to register@cebumarathon.com.

Furthermore, the organizers are negotiating with sporting shops in Manila to process registration for Metro Manila residents. Details will be available soon.
