i think mas dali kung kahibaw ka sa mga Scales, pentatonics etc... like for example sa Metallica, ingon ako friend nga mostly sa ila mga solo kay naa sa Key of E, mao dali kaau sya maka sepra. i agree pd na u need good listening skills jud.

hehehe..sakto sad ni ai, metallica does alot of basics most of their songs are in key of Em, and Am which is a derivation of the key of G and C..hehehe.. natural minor gamit para sad ang sound kunohay..

@TS: ako pud lisod pd ko ani nga problema ky what if jazz or soul or funk, mglisod ko kuha ky ang basic ra nga rhythm ako kaya, ang mga solos ky chromatic man gd .. mga pros advice sad mo dri

seems you are into guitar soloing... you must already have master the basics: sync up/down picking, hammer-ons, pull-offs, string bendings and vibrato
