^^ I'm assuming that you're on dynamic IP.. so you don't have to do that because:
- most dynamic IPs are already blacklisted since early 2000 by many RBLs
- dynamic IPs usually don't have reverse DNS.. by practice, mail servers are configured to reject emails that comes from an IP that has no reverse DNS.
errm, your dynamic IP has RDNS or PTR Record? some may have it.. but in my 3yrs of using Globelines, that's what I notice. Even in some ISP, like here in SG.
Try to check your IP (whatismyip.com) and do a lookup from here - DNSBL Information - Spam Database Lookup
Let me know if it's not blacklisted.
its upto our isp who holds our ptr records. lucky im on pldt now and all my sendmail passthrough to their server with no heckups. nah already got 5 years hell in globelines.
yup, that's what i'm saying.. because some ISPs like Globelines does not put PTR Record on their pool of dynamic IPs.
way back 2007 when I use my Linux box with qmail at home for bulk mailing, for newsletter of Vietnam's biggest e-commerce site, the delivery was only around 2%.
using the smtp of globelines was definitely better, the only thing is with the limits per hour. i think it's 500 per hour or maybe 1000.
Thanks 4d feedbacks!
I'm trying to use a smtp server software (QK SMTP) that runs locally on my computer to send mass emails.
Please let me know if theres a way to unblock or enable smtp sending through their router using DHCP.
Thank you so much!![]()
