Mas better ang C2D labi ng E8xxx series. Just get patient lang kay mubarato ra na siya kay daghan muabot na bag-o napud.
if you consider performance per price range, you might wanna choose amd...cpu performance is not only measured on the processor alone, try looking for your entire rig...better wait until the amd 3 is out...it already supports ddr3 and it will trump any c2d procies in terms of performance...i am also waiting for it til my next upgrade...intel set up is a bit expensive...i have been an intel and amd user and did not notice significant difference in terms of performance, well except if you hold a timer while waiting for a process to complete, what i am up for now is price over performance, u can route your budget to a more hi-end vcard that way...better gaming experience...after all, its all about choices !
AM3 is out. In fact, I'm reviewing one right now. *cough*Crosshair III*cough*
C2D for performance.. phenomx3 budgetwise. you choose
