read something bout it in readers digest.
sa ako nabasahan
if ang plastic bottle iheat or isterelize or bisag kanang mga bag-o na bottled water na maiinitan di maayo. cuz naay chemicals sa plastic bottle n moreact sa heat. thus, macontaminate ang water.
unsa na chemical? katong lead? or unsa 2 xa? hehe!
-antimony. a potentially toxic material used in making PET ( most bottled water are made from this. labeled PET on the bottom of the bottle). When bottles are stored in hot and warm temperatures,or stored for a long time in a store or in one's home, the more antimony it develops and this hemical leach into the water.
high levels of antimony can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
-bisphenol A (BPA) - a chemical found in polycarbonate (used to make water cooler jugs, sport-water bottles and other hard plastic, but not PET) may cause neurological and behavioral problems in fetus, baby , and kids. exposure to BPA is also likely to affect the adult brain, the female reproductive system and the immune system.
