I don't need to. I practice it and it was them who taught me. Like I said, it took me five years to earn the right to learn it. it is not a part of the curriculum that is being advertised.

If what "they" taught you included misrepresenting a legitimate school, then you've just doubled your atrocity by two-fold. And no, there is no such thing as an "advertised curriculum".

And if (which I highly doubt) it really did take 5 years for you to "earn the right" to learn Battoujutsu from your school, then you ought to have been with it long enough to at least know it's name. But oh, you haven't even mentioned it <sarcasm purposely inserted>.

It's Kenjutsu. But like I said, battoujutsu is part of any kenjutsu curriculum. I was taught battoujutsu by the USC dojo. Well, you guys are making me look like I don't know what I'm talking about or maybe that I'm making up stories about learning battoujutsu from the USC dojo. The truth is, I did. I had recently learned it, and I thought about sharing what I have learned. But if you're going to assume that there is no battoujutsu from the USC dojo because you weren't taught it, well, it's up to you. Telling me to get my facts straight is like telling me you know everything about the kenjutsu being taught there, which obviously you don't and I don't blame you guys for it.

If you want names, here they are: I practiced Ishikawa Kenjutsu and Hyoho Niten Ichi Ryuu under Isagani Batayola-sensei.

@ Bloody Red: Of course battoujutsu is not taught to students who apply for the course as a replacement for PE 13 and 14. Kage-ryuu battoujutsu techniques are taught to advance learners and not to those that attended the sem's curriculum. I don't know how long you practiced with Sensei but I suggest that you don't conclude with what you know without asking.

@A-L-R: Yes, the curriculum is not advertised per se but what Seishi is referring to is the curriculum that he knows. I don't know what you're trying to get at but if your intention in posting is to purposefully insult people who you don't even know then I suggest you do it somewhere else. Also, you cannot say for certain about how aspirants are treated in dojos simply because dojos have different ways of treating their applicants. Battoujutsu, I would like to add, is a draw technique and is in this thread referred to as the general term of the technique. It's not a school. I believe it's you who has to get YOUR facts straight.
