    Rewards Dogs Enjoy:
    1. praise- verbal approval always works with dogs, especially those with high willingness to please (example: good dog nya hekap hekapon dayon ang ero)
    2. pet- dogs love to be peeted when they did something right
    3. provide- providing food treats as rewards work great in training (atay sa manok lamean kaayo dog)
    4. play-fun enteraction motivates them too(epaage na nag duwa duwa mo)
    5. pleasant- facial expression during training results in pleasant rewarding experience (mao ne gamet master don eneg command neya yao, with authority)

I think naa na ilang suggestions nakuha sa animal scene this month with the labrador retriever as the cover... buy the magazine nalang...

For me I think the best command for obedience is the "stay" command may it be "sit stay", "stand stay" or "down stay".

    4 contexts of operant conditioning:

    1. positive reinforcement- occurs when a behavior (response) is followed by a favorable stimulus (commonly seen as pleasant) that increase the frequency of that behavior. when a dog is commanded to sit, and it sits, it is given a reward (like food treats).
    2. negative reinforcement-occurs when a behavior (response) is followed by the removal of ab aversive stimulus (commonly seen as unpleasant) thereby increasing that behaviors frequency. when a dog is being disobedient, the trainer nags it with unpleasant leash pops that stops as soon as the dog obeys.
    3. positive punishment-(also called "punishment by contingent stimulation") occurs when a behavior (response) is followed by an aversive stimulus, such as a jerk on the dogs lead, resulting in a decrease in that behavior.
    4. negative punishment-(also called "punishment by contingent withdrawal") occurs when a behavior (response) is followed by the removal of a favorable stimulus, such as taking away a dogs toy following an undesired behavior, resulting in a decrease in that behavior.
