^^lolz..your processor is not compatible bai..yu should have downloaded the 32 bit version.

you need at least Athon 64 or Pentium 4 6XX to be able to install 64 bit OS =)

Im not 100% sure but i think you need NTFS to mess around with 3GB files and above

Not necessarily NTFS, in FAT you could mess around with files up to 4Gb but theres a high risk of your allocation/index table getting messed up. Causing files to be unreadable but still it exists in your harddisk taking up precious space. So after saving/modifying/deleting the file, better restart/turn off the computer so that the allocation table can safely save its file indexes.

Btw, is this the "stable" version of their windows vista? Heard there were alot of system crashes with the earlier builds...

had installed Vista beta 2..i only encountered crashes when i installed Daemon tools and Alcohol 120%..i also observed that the Time/Date on the taskbar is not accurate.

i reinstalled my XP image now coz the TV tuner driver is incompatible.

You could say that... Some of my my friends tested the new environment and found out that the beta release doesn't work well with several Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) for software development... It would crash when they're doing graphical user interfaces design.. Which means it still has problems with it's memory management.
