poor herky bird...C-130's are the few of the oldies but goodies airplanes that carry out missions in active duty despite their age...all weather man gd ni xa and all terrain capable...very nice aircraft...based on the witness' report, i could make a wild guess that the plane had an in-flight explosion and that bang should have been strong enough to rip the wing off...

Kung na langkat ang pako, I doubt naay maka survive sa ensuing crash. Kana ra bang mga eyewitness reports have to be investigated closely kay usahay dili mao ang mahinumduman sa mga tao. Di kaayo reliable. A lot of crashes ang mga eyewitness (especially kung walay nahibaw-an about flying) mu ingon gyud nga naay explosion when in fact there wasn't.

Diri sa Pilipinas, daghan na kog nadunggan nga eyewitness account nga ang makina daw nag karag-karag before the crash, or naay ni buto, pero pag investigate wala diay labot ang makina sa pagka crash.

That's just human nature. People who see something so terrible may not know how to fit it into anything they've ever seen or experienced so far, mao nang maglibug sila sa ilang nakit-an nga crash.
