i can relate to your sentiments mate, as i used to be in the service before.. and i do play airsoft before i was in the service, till now that im currently a civvy..
this is one reason why most people who plays airsoft get's big in their bloody balls and in their bloody head.. they think that they're so good at playing "war games", that they can handle the real stuff. making a career out of it and talking big about being a macho rambo warrior or a spec.ops. know-it-all...
i wonder how they would bloody fare in a real-life gun-battle, even for just 20mins (as most airsoft games go this long). won't their ears ring and bleed from all those gun bursts.. won't their bloody shoulders and arms ache from lugging and firing all those rounds and carrying the real rifle.. won't they cower in fear and would they still have the air and pride to walk away standing tall after it all..
they probably would shit their pants on the first gun burst..
and they take this all for granted??
airsoft are a bit expensive toys for the big boys.. but in the end they're still just toys..
