Unless, there is a possibility of Hybridizing the LG with a related species or subspecies.
A little clarification though, some people thought that a High Yellow LG, a Tangerine LG, a Hypo Tangerine Carrot Tail LG, a Tornado LG, a Bell Albino LG, a Diablo LG, etc. etc. are different species of Leopard Geckos.
Definitely Not!
They are all the same ol' Leopard Geckos (s/n: Eublepharis Macularius).
These names are just COLOR MORPHS or color variations. Leopard Geckos are now like the Koi's in the fish world...very colorful...as a result of years of selective breeding.
The Leopard Geckos (Eublepharis Macularius) belong to the family Eublepharidae, which include all geckos with movable eyelids. LGs are endemic in Afganistan, Pakistan and Northwestern India

Other Eublepharids (geckos with eyelids) also include the ff:
African Fat Tailed Gecko (hemitheconyx caudicintus), African Clawed Gecko (holodactylus africanus), Japanese Leopard Gecko (goniurosaurus kuroiwae splendens), Malaysian Cat Gecko (aeluroscalabotes felinus), Central American Banded Gecko (coleonyx mitratus), etc, etc.
Our local house geckos and the noisy Tockay Gecko (s/n: gekko gecko) are all "budlat" looking because they don't have eyelids.
