Maypa pa check up nalang doctor. Bisaya 3 days wapa human iya klase! sigi ko paabot iya contributions here as what he promised.

Causes- elevated SGPT level
1) Acute Viral Hepatitis
2) Liver Necrosis: Drug or Chemical Toxicity (Acetaminophen, Halothane, Phenytoin, Isoniazid, ASA, Tetracycline, Sulfonamides, Tamoxifen, etc.)
3) Cirrhosis
4) Liver Cancer
5) CHF -congestive heart failure
6) Recent Alcohol consumption
7) Heparin Therapy


i spoke to a doctor about liver problems, ang mga pasyente kuno nga way symptoms, just get ur liver checked, comprehesive history para ma trace kung unsa gyud. SGPT is not the only diagnostic procedure to be considered. So, kung wa moy gipamati, dont start drinking again kay musamot ni siya.
Healthy diet helps, of course no alcohol, avoid sa mga tambal listed above.

@bisaya wats the difference betwen SGPT and SGOT? i heard much of SGPT but not with SGOT.. .? can u expound it for me plssss....

The SGOT and SGPT are chemicals that is made almost exclusively by liver cells. When the liver is irritated or inflamed it can leak SGOT and SGPT into the serum/blood where it can be measured. Your SGOT and SGPT are elevated and it may mean there is on-going inflammation or damage to your liver. On some occasions, individuals run mild elevations of their liver enzymes for years and doctors may never find a cause and never see evidence of significant problems to the liver.
