google talk is the most convenient.. kay libre ra! heheeh.. mao ni ako gamit pirmi diri.

suggestion.ayaw lang pag palit ug new fone.as long as ur old one has tri band or quad band fone.ok ra jud na cya... go for smart.ive been using it since naa ko middle east for 3 years.wlay maintaining bal. u just use that to recieve message from phils.but when you reply use the local sim in china or thiland or wherever ure goin. its much cheaper that way..if u wanna call use their budget cards in payphones...dont use ur mobile to call....its more expensive...however, try sending ur family money for them to call you.its way much cheaper for them to call you than you calling them.why, coz when you convert it through peso and check the airtime minutes its cheaper for about 5mins when they call you using the ofw card from pldt. thats my experience tho.

Simple, buy a SIM which is available in Thailand or Vietnam. That's what I would do. From my experience in Laos, I have an unlimited text to the Philippines. I don't know about calls.

Hi i went to USA for 1month and the bad news about globe prepaid roaming is that when they text you, you will also be charged, in other words magastos sobra its not worth it.
