Ako suggestion Drupal kung advanced user ka... Ive been customizing drupal themes (clients and admin theme) and also developing modules for specific use. totally customized gyud akng development sa drupal
ang ako ra gamit sa drupal kay ang iyang core pero the look and feel gyud sa admin is always new.
in short ngbuhat ko ug akong kaugalingon nga CMS admin based on drupal core.
nagbuhat ko ug mga modules nga mo create ug subpages for each pages based on menus fully customizable gyd ang CMS admin page nako.

for me I go for Drupal for advanced users.

Just recently learned Drupal ang successfully have a Drupal powered site. Nindot cya nga CMS, malibog lng usahay labi na sa mga modules. Pero mas ok ni xa nga CMS among others nga akong nasulayan. I started with Mamboo (now Joomla) ug karon bag.o Drupal na pud. Pero overall rating, nindot jud xa.

Yo! bro... i suggest play around with modules kung pwde learn developing your own modules. para
dghan na ang mga module developer sa drupal. nag collate pako para sa akong contribution sa drupal.

For me if you want the easy way use joomla but if you really want to learn a lot especially through customization try drupal.
