yep, i looked around and some motherboards still have an IDE slot (up to two IDE devices only)... gee, do you think someone would still be interested in my Palit 256MB DDR2 AGP8x video card? i bought it last year for like P8,000....

i bit the bullet today and bought NGenius P12k set. Good thing is, the motherboard has 1 IDE slot so I can still use my DVD writer and 320GB HDD. thanks to those who helped.
i will be selling this stuff in B&S soon:
ATX case with mouse & keyboard (all black in color) - P1,000 (with defective motherboard but AMD2600+ CPU is still OK, LiteON 52x CD-ROM drive and two 512MB PC333 RAM; 1GB total)
Western Digital 40GB HDD - P500

u can also buy an enclosure like matrix, k barato ra mana. usb na dayun imo connection sa imo mobo. difference is, external na siy, d na internal...

i can't believe how advanced the PC games nowadays. even with Intel C2D 2.66GHz 2GB DDR2 RAM and 256MB DDR2 videocard, my system sucks at running NFS Undercover and Tom Clancy's Double Agent.
Wow! I guess I'll have to suck it up with my PS3....
