If the title of the topic says Cebu City only, then I think it's but natural to discuss all there is that needs to be discussed about Cebu City... not Mandaue City, Lapu-lapu City, Talisay City and whatever there is that you want to compare Cebu City with.

kung mangutana diay ug nganong wala gi aspalto/gi semento ang mga guba nga kadalanan sa syudad sa sugbo, dautan na ba diay? kung mangutana ang usa ka sugbuanon nganong wala ma limpyohi ang kadalanan, nganong wala mapangita-i ug sulosyon ang pag sigeg baha sa syudad, wala ma implimintar ug tarong ang mga bala-od, dautan na ba diay na?

dude ayaw lang pud palabi anang mga bati nimong pulong!!...I know and you know that CEBU continously progressing(it may not be OVERNIGHT but atleast NAA).. and what can you expect if most of the budget especially for our infrastructure is heavily concentrated in Manila(Multi Billion peso Expressways, MRTs, LRTs, etc. etc.)

dili man siguro na dako nga request kay basic services ra man na ang gi hisgotan. wala man sad siguro mabutang sa first post nga ni request ug LRT, MRT o multi-billion projects ang TS.

BASIC SERVICES ra man siguro ang gihisgotan, dili mga multi-billion nga proyekto. lisod na ba kaayo na nga mga request? kinahanglan pa ba diay na nga e request pa sa Manila?

@TS kinsa man diay ang mga pili-anan nga mamahimong mayor?

Cebuanos deserve better governance..Presently crime rate is up, the city streets are dirty, too many street urchins, laws/ordinances are poorly enforced, traffic is getting worse, many of our roads are damaged....

And now we are again being made to choose between traditional politicians or their kins, I am hoping some real alternative shows up soon. It's time we make Cebu a better place

if you like to change cebu, start sa imu self, do good for cebu..

ok raman si mayor TOM, but given his present condition I doubt he's in good shape... you can't work well when your mind is healthy but your body doesn't. but if that happens, I'm confident about Councilor Davide, not bec. neighbors me but I knew basically their family....

sure ka? pag tym ni garcia limpyo ang colon? naa kay ebidensya nga pix? kay murag daku naman ko ato nga tym ni garcia, unya ang colon ingon ana na gyud na kay tungod sa ka daghan sa tawo ug mga vendors. basin ni ingon ka nga limpyo ang colon kay naa man toy ordinance sauna nga anti loitering unya dli pud consistent kay sa ma timingan lang sa mananakop!
para naku dli nato e blame ang city gov. kay unsa naman lang diay gamit sa barangay?

Wak, I like your last line, a better Cebu starts with the people, whether it be being aware, good citizens, working to give back to the community, clear understanding of problems and offer solutions etc

But since we are talking about choosing someone that is fit for the job, I say each and everyone of us need to study what candidates bring to the city, remember what they have done and hopefully will do for Cebu, a lot of us forget first and foremost public officials need to be " Public Servants" keeping in mind the good of its people. Politics have changed drastically but the hope is we keep the fire burning as to what is true and the best solution for the City and Country.
