hmm... int*el pa ko. For compatibility reasons, intel pa ko.
also I had a bad experiences with AMD. Im reconsidering the AMD athlon 64 X2 and FX series.
im hoping it will range 12-16k. (i wish)
I want to check AMD first. are there any internet cafe's in SM using AMD's?
I want to check performance and stability.


Intel 9xx seems good alternative man.
intel 8xx seems to have some bad comments.

Thats good bro jiro... Keep your options open. I didn't heared compatibility issues with AMD processors specifically the K8 or K7. I been using AMD setup since my first build (Athlon XP 2000) I didn't had any issues running software (not that I know) and now with my k8 setup its still the same stable.

Bro StyM is right, if you can wait till the couple months away, you will have a lots of options (Conroe and AM2 aside from 939, 775).

Alot of members here are using Dual core setup you can just ask them.

ako pud bitaw honestly, ive been using intel for the past 4 or 5 years since college kay I thought before nga init kaayo ang AMD and of course ang Intel kay sa pagkangan lang daan is very stable but then again as times goes by and as my needs and preference is concerned for now ni-prefer ko sa AMD64 but that doesn't mean I'll stay as is for life... of course not... hehehehe...

labi na nga daghan nang option nga umaabot, like conroe, X2 and many more... try googling and you'll be amazed on what's in stroe for us for the following months... grabe ang technology lagi... kusog magchange then kitang mga kabos... hehehehe... di kaapas dayon... huhuhuhuhu....
