okay, gotta admit. i am STILL a fan of the spice girls. i think they're one of the biggest phenomena of the 90s. i have all their albums and most of their solo albums...i haven't been listening to their albums for quite some time now. i'll play them all this weekend. i miss hearing/listening to brit pop music, hehe.

updates for those who are still fans:

melanie b (scary) - she's currently in LA, doing some small acting here and there. she just released her second solo album as a gift to the fans. she lives with her daughter phoenix chi.

melanie c (sporty) - currently pursuing the organic rock genre. she's still promoting her third solo album released this time on her own record label (red girl records). her third album is called beautiful intentions is still out in record bars. it was released here last year.

emma bunton (baby) - her third solo album will be out soon. her second album called free me was not released in the philippines. shame! good thing i have a friend from the UK who gave me one.

geri halliwell (ginger) - after her third solo album flopped, she moved to LA to study acting and currently she's pregnant and is said to have invited the four spice girls to be the godmothers of her baby.

victoria beckham (posh) - is currently enjoying life as a designer for rock republic. she has her own line of jeans, which are, well, quite expensive. she just celebrated her 32nd birthday and was given by hubby football star david beckham a ring he co-designed. she's now a mother of three boys.

I was a fan back in high school, hehe...they were such a massive influence in the late 90's even to kids...when Ginger (Halliwell) started to disband herself with the Spice Girls, the group's popularity fell down..I have to admit they were still doing great w/out Ginger, changed their image into some more mature (wearing clothes appropriate for their age, hehe)..just like in the video "Holler"...after that (i think, so far) no Brit all-girl group ever surpassed their antics and fame...
