CFW means Custom firmware, opposite of the original firmware released by sony.
this will enable your psp to read and play games from Memory Stick. This is great if you
dont have that much money. peru kung rich kaayu kah, then get the UMD's (about 2000~3000)

make sure if mu buy ka ug psp 2000... pili-a jud na ang mga psp nga shipped with firmware 3.90 or below.. if walaka kabalu about ani,,, just ask the owner. if wala gani sila stock ana nga unit, AYAW judpalit, kay kana nga mga units kay dili pa pwede ma hack. so if kana nga unit imu napalit, luuy gihapon ka, pareha ra na sila sa PSP 3000 (i won't talk so much abput this unit kay dilipud ni sya ma hack). so beware jud bro. pili-a jud na ang tarung!

Buy from neo Gamers at emall to save yourself the trouble for looking a downgradable psp. They sell PSP with CFW already and they also have packages that have free games, memory card and all.

psp 3000 has a built in mic and the lcd has been modified.
sony said its much brighter and supports more colors.

i own a slim (psp 2000) and a phat (psp 1000)
all came from japan

planning to buy psp 3000 but i am not yet over my psp slim
