Tonewise, I can describe the analogs and Digis like this:

Analog = Gravel - Bug-at, tibu-ok.....very warm sounds and very musical and natural
Digital = Sand - Pino, nipis or light sounding....you can use an EQ to compensate but why bother, plus it has some nasty harmonic overtones when clipped.

I agree with this...the digital pedals designed nowadays are really good. I think this the statement "analog is better than digital" idea is TRUE BACK IN THE 20TH CENTURY. GENERALLY, I am talking about newly designed peds 2000 up to the present. (not all ha?... talking about the good ones)...like CMATMODS, TREX, DR Scientist, and others.

lagi sa mao pud na ron, technology will always catch up and find better algorithms for better or even emulations, sounding and possibly warmth,

woi nalingaw ko sa vox Jam vox kit sa ako co-worker he also brought his les paul copy from david nindot oi, nag practice2x ko ganina ug mga der kormisar lol

@fox i agree with you too, pero gamay najud ang kalahi ron, i still prefer stomboxes for signal chain routing, i just found out my artec phaser responds better if its treated like a wah pedal before the distortion lol, lahi ning ahaka ni

I understand and agree too. Splitting hairs na gyud.
But...with all prices just about the same for these boutiques (give and take) which would you choose?
A simulation? or the real thing?

Mas subtle ang phaser b4 gain units and mas "in you face" in reverse. really depend sa imo gusto nga sound. I'm happy bothways. Phase90 b4 gain peds seems to work best, the small stone can be put either positions with great results but b4 any time-based/modulation effects.
