Bela Fleck and The Flecktones and Chris Thile of Nickel Creek has recently formed a band called PUNCH BROTHERS which is a fusion of bluegrass,jazz, and classical...

Also Jethro Burns is one of my favorite mandolin jazz player who also played bluegrass sometimes...

Then Miles Davis before Bi**** Brew and Sonny Rollins.

Charlie Peacock, a producer known for discovering and signing Switchfoot before they became famous is also a certified jazz musician.

And the band Scat is just amazing. In their poster they look like Weezer but their music is a cross between Frank Sinatra and Jamie Cullum
