IMO almost sad ending. very melancholic song too.

There really hasn't been a game for me that hit me hard with it's story and characters. There has been some good ones, but not to a point where my eyes went all teary.

However, if there was one that had me all riled up..... that would have to be Halo 2. Not because of the story was so engaging, I just couldn't believe Bungie ended the game that way. It was a cliffhanger at it's worst. If it wasn't for game's awesome multiplayer, I would have felt really ripped off with my purchase.

i think videogames now have become excellent medium for compelling story-telling the effect of which maybe comparable to movies and books
