Saw and read an article regarding KOBE BRYANT tagged as the next MJ , it so happened also that one of the commentators was no other than the player who knew MJ best SCOTTIE PIPPEN , he said he (KOBE) is no near to being like Mike . He is lightyears away to become one .

hahahaha nice sai springfield........kana tinood gyud na .........

these are one of the facts nga si kobe layo ra gyud ni jordan

kobe now 28 yrs old, seven years nalang iya kuwang, kay mostly 35 laos na ang player, pero si jordan at 35(regular season mvp, all star mvp, finals mvp)makasunod kaha si kobe ana?

I dont think sa seven years, makuha ni kobe ang 7 straight mvp honors,

mao ni achievements ni jordan at age 35

    5 reg season mvp
    6 finals mvp
    10 scoring titles
    9 time first defensive team
1 defensive player of the year
twice, he had 200 steals and 100 block shots in a season, makakuha kaha si kobe ana........

    at age 35

while si kobe mao ni iya achievements
    finals mvp - zero
    reg season mvp - zero
defensive player of the year - zero
    scoring titles - 1
championship rings - 3 but without shaq, zero unta ni........

mao ni ako predictin ni kobe sa 7 years niya, of course he will win an mvp, 1 or 2, and a championship 1 or 2 also..... hes a great player pero he s no michael jordan,,,,,,, maybe another magic or bird but not mike........charisma lang daan, everybody loves michael, while si kobe ang LA ra tawn ang ganahan niya...........sa U.S............ samot na kung kuwartahay, sa commercial na lang daan, kumingking ra si kobe......... wala na man gani siya commercial karon..........

Jordan was once called bigger that tom cruise in 1992, hes difinitely bigger than tom cruise when comes to popularity.......

It was once a fact that some parts in the world , they dont know who JESUS CHRIST is but they know who MJ is !!

FInancially , it was once a fact that as one of the highest paid NBA player of all time ....( imagine what is a HIGH PAYING NBA PLAYER on how much MOOLAH thay take home . ) MJ's NBA salary is nothing compared to his salary from NIKE . Just imagine how much he is making from the shoe giant when we say that it is more than what he makes in NBA back then .

MJ was an all around player, he can play both defense and offense. He take all things a challenge and vowed to overcome them. He was a team player too. He can take over the game.

He was a succeful endorser too, a succesful business man.

He is one of a kind. The greatest athlete of all time.

scottie pippen once said this in an interview, just bec. kobe scored 81 doesnt mean hes better than jordan.......and he also added that they are both great players but the difference between them is Jordan belongs to the era were Defense is really physical, while Kobe belongs to the era where defense is less and offense is more prioiritze, it is illegal if you tripplle team a player right now, thats what he said, and there are no hand checks in todays rule, ..........but he said that he was really proud to belong in those era where so many legends are born.......

and he also added, that if todays rules were applied in his era, esp in the NBA finals 1991 where he guards Magic Johnson, he said he's difinitely be fouling out in just five minutes.........

and he also said if he was still in his prime and if he has to guard Kobe in todays rule, he wont last a quarter, fould out gyud siya......

and I think Pippen got a point there, look at the NBA eastern finals in 1993 against the Knicks, tan awa unsa ka physical si Oakley, Starks, Mason, mura na nila patyon si Jordan sa ila Karubo........

same with the Pistons, puwerting robaha...... pero karon mahikapan lng gamay fould dayon......

Pippen also said, that Jordan earned his 30 in hardway , back in the day when a player scores a 40 points, headline na kuno sa news, but now a player can score 40 in a half, thats how weak the defense is.....

imagine Jordan in his prime in todays rules.........will he score a 100, of course maybe be more, but pippen added hes not gonna do that coz phil jackson wont allow him.... bec. his teamates will difinitelly think that they are not worthy........

wow... that would answer the question, who's gonna be the next Jordan? and that is NOBODY. its been the answer in such a long time.
