No problem bai.. ana gyud na kay ga agi sad bya ko ug pagka newbie.. and kasabot ta unsa kinahanglan sa newbie.. posted that info here for all newbies or those that seek the info about this specie bahala dili mamalit.. hobby ra bitaw ni.. hehe.

Dili gyud angay kuptan bai.. kay like me, I'm allergic sa bite sa ants.. and hadlok sad ko nga allergic ko sa scorpion venom. So cautious lang gyud..

Some handles H. Hottentotta. But I myself don't recommend handling any scorpion.. for observation ra gyud na ang scorpions and collection.

I'm not sure bro but I think the largest for this specie is 4-5cm with its metosoma in the upright and curled position measuring from mouth to tail. Very few information is available for this breed on the internet.

If somebody here knows the real largest known size for hottentotta species please post para maka tabang pud ta gamay. Thanks.

Well, kanang ako gi post sa taas labelled "For newbies" could possibly help you know about keeping this scorpion. Every different scorpions have different needs man gud.

This is a level 3 scorpion, dili gyud dangerous. If ma sting ka, mag suka suka ka and malipong for some hours. And bisag level 1 pa dili ka angay pa sting cause you might be allergic sa venom. Respect to this living thing is important. This could be dangerous to kids or babies.

naa lang ko ask bro.. nakakita kog scorpion didto sa amoa ba. ambot kung scorpion ba jud to kay scorpion man jud siya ug porma. pariha jud porma ana naa sa imong pic pero gamay lang to siya tiyan nya scary ug itsura kay whole black man gud siya.... ako to nakit an sa coconut tree nga mobo kaayo as in mobo nga dool ra au siya sa yuta... ako pangutana is SCORPION ba jud kaha to? hehehehe

na stingan nakog HH, sakit jd kaayu, murag gi tusok2 imo tudlo og dagom every 4 to 5 seconds pero na wala ra mn after 2 hours kai gi butangan dayon ice...butangi lang jud ice sa area nga na stingan, ayaw jd stop butang ice kai ig wala sa bugnaw kai mo balik na pd ang tusok2...hehehhe...mao ni ako experience sa HH sting, 6i pa jd naka sting nako...careful lng jd permi...respect lng tanan scorps bisag lvl 1 pana...

It could be a scorpion bro.. basta ang itsura kay duna pincers and duna stinger.. scorpion na siya.. basta parehas gyud nawng ani.. di lang tambok.. hehehe.. ang kani nga scorpion nako bro kay dagko gyud tiyan. Naa pud dili dako tiyan.. Mas maayo unta bro if imung ma picturan.. then post diri arun makakita pud mi.. No problem sa OT na post bro di man ta angay masuko ana.. part of the hobby man gihapon na ang mu tubag ta sa questions..
