Well we cannot do anything about the appointment other than accept it. It was the choice of the President to appoint Chavit as deputy NSA. The President has the power to appoint officials she deems fit for the position. The usual qualifications are trust and confidence coupled with skill. Chavit said to have experience as a policeman before. Let's just hope and pray that he does his job as NSA with utmost propriety and responsibility.
