Reformat ur Drive C:\OS and lets see if its working..coz for me lang ha..there is a possibility that the viruses have hidden ur HDD, and infact its a HDD external...and thats the issues.

Make a move to figure out whats the cause...I dont think u r HDD is damage...okay?

try my suggestions...or else use ur external HDD to other PC's k...
