can you manage to make it to windows desktop? and what specifically you mean by that df hangs up, the window of df freezes?

do this: if you have df installed from another workstation and working fine, thaw it. after thawing it, reveal the hidden files in your windows then copy the persio.sys and paste it to the problematic hard drive(assuming you connect the problematic hard drive as a slave to a new fine working computer with thawed df)

basin di pud ni kahibaw mu thaw, you will not have a complete thaw unless you restart your system. You will then see the polar bear icon on your task bar with a red x mark, that means that is thawed.

hmm ganitu gawin mo.. punta ka sa C:\WINDOWS\system32

hanapin mo yung restore na folder tapos dobol click mo yung rstrui

i babalik nya sa nakaraang settings ang pc.. follow mulang yung instruction.. kaya lang mawawala yung mga latest file mo.. backup mo muna yung mga important files.. i-restore mo sa date and time na hindi pa na install ang deepfreeze..
