    2GB is adequate for most users.. doesnt even require a 64-bit OS

    perhaps what needs to be improved now is the filesystem performance. harddrives really slows things down.. especially with these new and improved OS full of bloatware..

    bloatware? i don't think there's any for retail cds for OEMs, yes. a lot but not for retails.

    to make things simpler, 64-bit computing is:
    processing data in 64-bit "CHUNKS".

    64bit computing has been discussed here and in software many times. If you have a more specific question, then feel free to post a thread, but general 64bit questions have been overdone.
