unsay first three digits? 000-0000 >> -8099..... Ang rating sa canon sa 400D kay 30,000... so 30,000 give 20,000 or take nothing.. depende sa imong pag-gamit.. makabalo raka kay dili na mutira ang camera... ang mugawas kay "ERR 99." hehehe

8,099 shutter actuations.. Congrats! that camera is in pristine condition. Of course ma-ayo na sa Canon... Dugay2 lang... pero mulapas pa na 30,000... depende lang sa gamit.. hehehe!

hehehe! based sa akong experience.... Ang file name sa EOS cameras kay ani "IMG_0000." First shot nimo kay IMG_0001, second kay IMG_0002, and so on. Pero if imo tanawon ang imo pics sa camera, lahi imong makita instead of IMG_0000, ang makita nimo kay 000-0000...

So first shot kay 000-0001, second kay 000-0002, hantod 000-9999. After 000-9999, ang next shot nimo kay ani ang mugawas, 100-0000.... So kabaw naka nga naka 10,000 shutter acuations naka.. So ang next cycle, 100-9999, and sunod ani dili 200-0000 pero 101-000. If 101-0000, meaning 20,000 shutter actuations naka. Mao ni akong na-observe. wala ko kabaw sa 30,000 kay wala paman ko ka-abot ana.. hehehe

I Just Bought a brandnew G9 100-0001 man lagi ang akong first shot? Also with my 400d it starts at 100-0001 ang shot when i first started kay when you format the memory card it places the photo file under 100canon ? How reliable is your info? I checked Phipo and wala man gyud reliable way to check shutter count except by taking the camera to canon.

Sori sir. As I said, observation lang ni nako. My 40D has reach 20k plus shutter actuations. I really noted each shot. Nya mao ni akong obserservation. It really is quite confusing. Maybe it is not the same for all cameras. So it's not really reliable. But at least, you can at least estimate. Kita kog camera nga 938-3464 ang iya number. so murag daghan nato iyang shutter actuations. =)) hehehe I also tried looking at new cameras kanang sealed pa gyud. ang it really does start with 000-0000.... =)) This is for Canon DSLRs ha... and based on observation. Sa Canon Service center, naa gyud silay software to give the exact amount of shutter actuations. =))

nag lalis naman sa shutter actuations. hehehe. ang ako for sure, its going to be less than 10000. gamit ra gyud kung naa occassions.

AFAIK, G9 and other point and shoot cameras have electronic shutter, so dili kaayo momatter kung pila ka-actuations... mas mo-matter na siya sa dSLR, kay mechanical ang iyang shutter...
