How can one celebrate one's birthday meaningfully?

I won't call it meaningful... but once, I celebrated it by taking a shower full of scented candles... (lighted of course) ... wala lang, trip lang nako... and fulfilled na ko ato! bahala na wala ko'y gift nadawat... I'm used to it anyway..

meditate and take a look how have you been doing for the past something years and of course give thanks to our dear God for blessing you with another fruitful year.

i agree. do something new. something u've been curious about before but didn't find the time to satisfy the curiousity. then look for people who u are sure to have a good time doing that same thing with you.

this was how i spent my last birthday:

i spent it with friends from my hometown and we went on a roadtrip to San Remegio. we bought fish, nylon strings and shrimps. the nylon strings and shrimps were for fishing. we went fishing in the fishpond. kinawboy kaayo among fishing equipment. that was all we had, nylon, a hook, and the bait. we caught quite a few. i caught three. then i relaxed on the branches of a Sinaguelas tree. whew. that's all i did. i didn't even help with the cooking.

one suggestion would be to spend it in a place where u spent a part of your childhood. bring people u know there. they are sure to have a good time. seeing other people's smile and hearing their laughter on your big day is quite fulfilling.

wala nako nag ceblebrate sa ako Bday since 1995 (pagtungtung nako dire sa sugbo)
hangtud karon nga minyo nako, wala lang gihapon...
for me, wala lang... mao ra gihapon nga adlaw...
i even told my wife pag monday( dec 4 , Bday) not to give me anything, kung naa man siya gift, ipalit na lang para sa amo baby. heheheh

but syempre, CHURCH jud ko first thing in the morning...
