This is not true! We're on our own here without the "sundo," the tour guide and hotel accommodations. I pray your wife will not leave us hanging with the refund because as far as we're concerned, the problem has not been resolved.
We also appeal that the agency stop deceiving clients. If you have problems and are unable to service your customers for the moment, then do not give them false promises and assurances (and allow me to stress this again: REFRAIN from giving
BOGUS vouchers and making last-minute phone calls about payables abroad.). We are unsure of your story re: clients with back accounts because your wife has been very aggressive in collecting the full payment from us months before, stressing that nothing cannot be booked without full payment... and yet... 4 Winds Travel and Tours failed to deliver.
Update as of 07-13-2010: We got our refund back
at last. Nobody can really fathom how bitter and disappointed we are with what happened and at the manner with which 4 Winds Travel and Tours treated us. The agency's lack of sincerity and utter ineptitude appalled us. Thanks for all the headaches and heartaches caused, the time wasted, and our very high credit card debt... and thanks anyway, at least, for having some heart left to give us back our money.
We hope we will be the last forum members to suffer from this ill-deserved disservice and deception. Not so many Istoryans will have the same patience and stupidity as us to put up with the agency's excuses.
