question lang. pede ba ko maka-program ug php while nagaprogram ug .net at the same time? i mean, diba apache man ang php, then ako nagagamit ug iis. ok lang ba na naa sila duha sa ako workstation or dili pede? wa jud koy idea.

Di man nah pwede oi, kay ako pud na gi try pero kung i una nimu install ang iis then ang apache imu pud i install ang apache na ang imung localhost server...

yeah, pero sa windows services nimu basta ang Apache ma stop wa nay laing apache nga magdagan, even mySQL... So you need to choose between the two programs whether wamp or xamp.

But I suggest na i-configure nlang nah manually kay kung mag-gamit ka anang wamp or xamp maglisud nakag configure sa MySQL.
*Compatible Versions:
- Install Apache 1.3.xx
- Install MySQL 5
- Install PHP4.x.xx
Perfect Combination jud nah...

FYI:
Last time nako visit sa CebuCity.gov.ph - Internal Errors ang nigawa displayed sa public... Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! - xammp ila gamit...

Just get apache 2.x, install it, test that it works.
Then, get the php 5.x installer, which will modify the apache config so it will work.
Test it by creating a file lets say info.php with the content

phpinfo():
?>

Run it via http://localhost/info.php

If it works as it should, do the mysql installation.

There really is no reason to get the latest Apache/PHP/MySQL if XAMMP or WAMP can get you started developing faster. I have a dedicated Linux box for my development and the packages for my distro as well as almost every other production server out there don't run bleeding edge software. Stability is key. Time is better spent developing instead of figuring out the software your development runs on.

have you tried na okayon ang sulod sa xampp.. by foldr mana sya althought.. mysql diha is not a very complete such the IDE or the Desktop Version.. as it's used the phpmyadmin.. which is most common from remote web host.
