The number of days to finish a sword depends really on the complexity of its structure and design. Mostly, basing from past clients, we forge battle-ready swords which, apparently, differ in edge finish and also has a high-carbon content to prevent it from easily breaking when bashed with other common swords. Traditional Japanese forge is a long process which could take months to finish as it takes enough mastery of polishing these swords, along with the production of hamon and temper lines that contain the smith's signature, which also varies from style to style. Most Japanese swords also have kanji inscriptions like the one below and takes a lot of expert carvings and crisp efforts to forge. Due to the tremendous work traditional forging requires, we do not work on such types.

We have posted below an Ichigo Bankai "Tensa Zangetsu" sword that we have made for a client way back November 2007 who backed out and never payed us. This is the reason why we now ask new clients for a downpayment of half the dealt price.

    SPECIFICATIONS:
    1. Half-link at the end of chain
    2. 50 inches overall length
    3. 37 inches blade (full tang)
    4. Black cord wrapped over bamboo
    5. 'Nazi' style black handguard design
    6. Fine drywood black scabbard
    7. Galvanized black blade
    8. Clear polished Kissaki for impaling (sword tip)
    9. Wave Hamon and Nie for clean cuts (i.e., bamboo, trees, furniture, people, walls, etc., etc.)*

    *Already overlapped with black coating.

The original deal for this sword was Php 4,800 but as we have mentioned, we never heard from them again. It was a good fact however that we decided to finish this sword for demo sample.

Depending on the intended usage and material, the prices of the swords that you submit may vary. PM me for any inquiries, suggestions, comments.
