no not just mindanao apparently there are some spots north of luzon. No there is no surf is cebu it's sorrounded by too many islands and therefore soaks up all the swell. I was born in cebu but have lived here in gold coast australia for 18 years so im totally sorrounded by the surf lifestyle. I was hoping that i'd find surf in cebu when i went there in 2000 for my first time back but there wasn't any. I even went around the whole island to see for myself but it's all flat. Apparently the only time they have waves there is when they have typhoons.

bro count fill me in the details bro. i also surf and i'm from cebu. i've been to siargao already but i'm interested in samar, iv'e seen lots of phat waves in samar from Surfer.com when they posted pics from a surf trip by some pros. woork pa man ko so i'll need to file a leave pa. Help sad ko beh kay bali ako nose ako board nga 6'5".

no waves on central and western part of the philippines. too much island in between those parts and the pacific. all the good surf spots here are located on the eastern side and the off isles.

There are good waves in western luzon. Zambales, La Union (San Juan) and Bauang. I've only been to San Juan. Beach break and point break(sort of). Beginner friendly. Lots of teaching locals(non-hostile).
