First time GNU/Linux user here. Ubuntu 12.04 akong gigamit. Lingaw raman ko sa Unity. Ang lisud lang sa sugod kai pag install ug mga packages na wala sa Ubuntu software center. Maka nosebleed ang Terminal.

Pero nice jud siya. Dual boot rako in kaso naay kailangan buhaton na wala sa Ubuntu. In kaso lang. Hehe

kung maglisod mo sa unity. try lang mo ug version 10 kay gnome pa ila gamit.

If you're into RHEL based go for fedora. Though personally i don't like unity so that's why i'm still sticking to F14. =D

So far ok raman ang Unity sah akoa and so far 12.04 medyo d na labad .
I use Ubuntu for my freelance jobs. If naay clients na mo request ug PSD file type w/ cymk
I use Playonlinux photoshop, though old siya wala man nka lahi sa new.
Features raman mabuhat raman gi hapon sa old kun unsay naa sa new yung nga lang you
have to be creative just to get blending features from the options ky sa Playoinlinux CS pa
ila didto and medyo ang 7 wala pay features about sa blending options.
Pero anyway sa TS na question if usual lang daw na gamit . I go w/ Ubuntu

Ubuntu 12.04 for daily use, nya mag virtual machine ra daun ko if i want to go windows to open a particular application.. LPS-Public everytime ill go for online banking transactions coz its required.

i see you tested bayanihan, unsay tan-aw nimo sa ila recent release?, i beta tested their first release many years ago. and i dont like it... i pointed out to use a different desktop instead of KDE, i said on my email to ASTI before to instead use GNOME... or if ever they can just make a sub flavor of ubuntu...

for whitehat use... i use Tails and Backtrack for my pentest and grayhat

try Elementary OS - base siya sa ubuntu pero with more of like a macintosh feeling. Pero para nako ang gagamit ani kato ning mga tao na di ka afford mo palit og macintosh preha namo..
