is your bros CR-V the 2.0L? or the 2.4L.
I think that with the same displacement such vehicles should consume more compared to cars [of the same displacement]. CR-Vs are heavier I think... Plus if it's the AWD/4WD version, I think mas mo consume pa jud na siya daghan...

weight reduction na lang jud mo....
ibilin na lang ng inyong mga spare tire and hasta driver, pag weight reduction na mo...LOL

    Car/Model: Mitsubishi Galant

    Year: 1990

    Engine: 4G37 - 1800CC - 8 valve - carb(non injected)

    Consumption:
    highway: 1:7-8(without aircon)
    city: 1:4-6 (without aircon)

Reaction: 4 to 6 km per liter on city driving without aircon; hence my alternator is oversized(150amperes) so its heavy to pull. secondly my idle is 1200, this is to accommodate every thump of my bass setup(car audio, 2.5k watts for my bass), thirdly; i have my "entire" trunk filled with boom box(buffles for the sub woofers) this makes the car heavy even if im the only occupant, thus needs more rev to accelerate.

further reaction: with the high price of gas; most of the times murag kung pwede lang dili na lang nako tamakan ang selinyador. with the high price of gas; dili nako ganahan mo istambay na mag pa tukar sa ako car(since dapat running ang engine), kung pwede lang isaksak na lang sa 220 volts ako car audio ehehhehehe. with the high price of gas; ga plan ko buy na lang ko bisekleta uy; pero murag puro sad ko singot pag abot nako syudad dah.
