The initial project of the group is to have a roadshow exhibit of our bettas. The primary purpose of this is to raise funds ( selling during exhibit) and increase the number of members or hobbyist.

This would be a sort of a trial exhibit in preparation for the mall exhibit ( year end) and hopefully a show next year. We will request 3 to 4 petshops ( September- November) if they can accomodate us for the exhibit. This would be beneficial for the petshops for marketing awareness since all ABA- Cebu members would invite many people to visit the exhibit.

The following petshops will be requested;
1) Riverfront Aquaria ( 2 branches)
2) Hobbyist Petshop
3) Piper's petshop
4) Akwaryum

Details of the exhibit will be posted after the preparation meeting next week.

Cumulative effort of the group na cya bai because each member has greatly contributed to the group even by just supporting our projects and showing up on our meetings to voice his ideas... Without the members, the officers are worth nothing...

Every newbie that approaches us to join our meetings or want to learn more about Bettas revitalizes us and gives us the energy to keep this chapter going... And that is the damn truth for every member of ABA...

This is why we have this group in the first place, to promote brotherhood and comradere in a common passion we have that is Betta keeping...

I'am planning of group get-togethers on holidays and night outs to strenghten the bond of the members...

Excellent work on the drawing Jess... Can't wait to see it... I applaude your efforts...^^

I would schedule a meeting next week to finalize the date and our plans to make it more convenient for us since majority of the members are working...

ABA pioneer member Mr. Emerson Sy has already made efforts to provide assistance to the group with our tarpaulin poster...

Announcement:

1) We will need a slogan for our show this coming November 15-16, 2008. Like the ABA-Davao slogan "Pabirig", we will also have our own, suggestions are
welcome from all members.
2) And also, we need to have our own logo, we only need to add design to
the original ABA logo without altering it.
3) As suggested by Justice, if possible, we will have exhibits in our sponsor pet
shops for about a week. Two days is not enough. Comments please.
