Best programming language is C# kon Windows, Java kon Linux kay naa ni sila potential sa job market. Dli lisod ang pag tudlo basta naa kay outcome sa imong gitudlo. Kanang makabalo sila when and how to use like the iterations, conditions ug uban pa. Daghan maayo kaayong laki sa mga syntaxes ug uban pa apan dili kabalo kanus-a gamiton. Industry based pud imo exercise. Ayaw sad nang calculator.

i disagree on Java kon linux.... for long term go for Python... either QT or Mono (hate this implementation)

I'm also into Python but the institution I'm in, requires Java with J2SE, JEE plus STRUTS and Android. It's a government funded institution. So far mostly in my experience in the industry especially financial institution use JEE. Only few requires Python.

Java has good support no doubt about it... the only problem with java despite is a free-to-use its not a 100% open source... the open source version is OpenJDK which sad to say is not complete... where as python... its slow here in philippines and some part of asia... but most linux based application are based in python if not mono or QT.. C for system libraries and application..

TS most effect is use C/C++, kay easy to absorb ra for students, visual basic not good as a foundation. If C/C++ kay dali ra e tudlo then maka teach pa jud kag logics easily. Then Java, PHP, Phyton kay sayon na lang dayon na para sa imong mga students kay ilang syntax, expressions kay similar raman dayon na sa C/C++ later on sila na lang dayon mo pili asa ilang focus as long as naa silay nindot na foundation.

Kay if C based ang foundation dali rman dayon maka adopt to another languages gud. Nya mas dali pud sabton if C based then naay logic kay ang syntax ba easy to read lang.

GUI pwede raman na later na lang kay maskin Java naa GUI nya drag and drop naman lang nang GUI ron not like sauna nga e code jud tanan sa notepad.

naa man sa Youtube na karon mga tutorials, e download via grabber then ipang distribute para easy nalang sa styudents nga way ineternet sa balay kay pwede ra ipa salida sa video player nga naay usb...


akong advice kay maghimo ka og course plan nga step by step..

ang project 1 kay maoy gamiton sa project 2 and so on, until maka himo og dako na project igka end sa semister.

diha nimo makita ang progress sa students.

mao ni akong gi pa project last year katong ga teach pako....perti man mga tapulana mga estudyanteha ang resulta halos most of them kay gi hagbong nako....out of 28 students nako ang ako ra gi pa pasar is 11 ra kabuok.....kanang 11 kabuok mao nay mga estudyante nako nga perti interesado sa subject nako specially programming. I'm very strict when it comes na sa project.

mao dyud, kailangan dyud hagbongon para maka realize ang mga studyanti na dili para ilaha ang ilang kurso, kay later sa ila life kung mag permi ilang gi himo kay walay project ma human.
