Turbo engines don't really last long compared to NA ones. Coz a turbo would add stress to the engine thus increasing engine wear and decreasing engine life.
Plus ang pag own and maintain sa turbo engines cost alot more. Coz you will need to change engine oil more frequently compared to its NA counter part. Since, engine oil would also lubricate and help with heat reduction of the turbo.
top mount intercooler (engine bay mounted) is not efficient if not useless because engine bay is very hot and your intercooler will be heat soaked unless you mount it in front of your grill with good ventilation. Cold air intake is also good but not applicable in PH so many flooding. Chemical intercooler (water/alcohol injection) like AEM, Snow, Devilsown, etc are much more efficient and cheaper compare to air intercooler. You can read in tsikot.com and there is a lot of substantial information of chemical intercooling in some website like aquamist.co.uk. Good Luck!!!!

one of the main cause of turbo failure is oil-related because it is your oil that lubricates and cool down your turbochargers. momentary loss of oil pressure can cause overheating and damage to turbochargers. Turbochargers are very hot that is why the best oil to lubricate a turbocharger is synthetic oil (group IV & group V base oil synthetic) because it can withstand extreme temperature compare to conventional oil and its additives will not easily breakdown from its base oil....
